I feel like in today's world women
are becoming more and more self seeking.
Don't be so loud the you can't hear when
someone needs you to have a listening ear.
Don't be so busy that you miss when
someone just needs you to sit with them.
Don't strive for more when
you can just rest in the peace of God.
Be still.
Listen for the voice of God. His voice is there,
but when we fill ours lives with busyness, worry,
and seeking attention for ourselves it's harder
to hear Him when He speaks.
